Sky Creek Ranch Golf Club, one of North
Texas’ best golf experience, was opened in August
of 1999.
Designed by nationally famous architect Robert Trent Jones,
Jr., son of one of the game’s legendary
builders, the par 72 public access course measures a very
challenging 6.953 yards from the back tees. The 18-hole layout
was the project of Oklahoma City-based Golf Club Partners,
LLC, who brought in Jones to design this daily fee gem. He
took full advantage of the lush surroundings and natural
topographic beauty in Keller, one of the fastest-growing
communities in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.
Big Bear Creek winds through the entire property and comes
into play on 16 of the 18 holes. There are numerous lakes
and tributaries throughout the course to challenge any skill
level of player, with dozens of white sand bunkers as well
as native Oak trees lining Big Bear Creek. The greens are
composed of bent grass to give each player a true feel for
their putts while the tees and fairways are 419 bermuda and
over-seeded during the winter with rye grass, for optimal
year round playing conditions.
Conveniently located between Dallas and Fort Worth, this
world-class daily fee course features hole after hole of
challenging golf shots down fairways thickly lined with trees
onto rolling greens, and that’s only part of the Sky
