My teaching philosophy is easy for every student to understand and apply to his/her own game. I focus on the both the pre-swing and in-swing fundamentals. Keeping it simple is essential for every student regardless of your skill level. My main focus with every student is to start by building a solid foundation/set-up dependent upon the student's physical characteristics. Your swing itself will also be tailored to fit your characteristics, not a "model". When making changes to your swing, I will always explain why it needs to be done and how it will benefit you. Every player should be taught by tailoring his/her game to their primary physical characteristics of strength and flexibility. To really improve you need to practice 3 times a week for 20 minutes. Private lessons are available to all players.

Ladies Day Out: Enjoy our weekly clinics as a benefit of our NEW Practice, Learn, Play membership. You can find out more information here. This is a semi-private, one and a half hour golf lesson for ladies only. This is an ideal time to invite a girlfriend or two (maximum 4 ladies) and take a golf lesson. This program is designed for lady golfers of any level who want to improve their golf swing and have fun doing so. Call for pricing.

Junior golfers: Six hours of instructional design to help junior golfers get started. We teach the nine core values of golf (Responsibility, Respect, Integrity, Sportsmanship, Confidence, Courtesy, Judgment, Honesty and Perseverance). Each student will learn the fundamentals of the golf swing including the grip, aiming, posture and stance. Full swing, half swing, chip shot and putting are introduced and practiced in this clinic. This is a great class for youngsters who are just figuring out the game of golf and want to know how to get better. A maximum student to teacher ratio of eight means plenty of personal instruction. We have great summer golf camps, so put us in your plans for the summer. Cost: $270 for 6 hours of instruction, maximum 8 kids (ages 5 to 13)

Club Repair: I have over 25 years combined experience fitting, repairing, tuning and modifying golf clubs. From re-gripping to re-shafting, we've got you covered. I have all the tools necessary to have your clubs performing as good as new.

Grips: Whether you're playing the last round of your local club championship or a friendly match against some colleagues, old worn out grips can be throw a costly monkey wrench into your game. On hot humid days as well as in damp weather, the slightest bit of moisture on old grips can make your clubs turn, slip and slide in your hands worse than a sports car on an icy highway. We can re-grip one or all of your clubs with the latest grips from Lamkin, Golf Pride, Winn and many more.

Is Sky Creek open to the public?

• Yes.  Sky Creek Ranch Golf Club is open to the public for play every day except Thanksgiving and Christmas Day.  We also offer an Annual Golf Membership with a variety of outstanding benefits, along with four-day memberships.

How far is the golf course from the airport?

• Sky Creek Ranch Golf Club is located approximately 25 minutes from DFW airport and 45 minutes from Dallas Love Field.

How early can I call to reserve a tee time?

• You may call seven days in advance of the day you would like to play or you may also reserve a tee time online. You may call as early as 6:30 a.m.

How early should I arrive prior to my tee time?

• We recommend that you arrive at the golf course at least thirty minutes prior to your tee time to ensure that all check-in requirements are fulfilled and that you will have ample time to warm up and become acquainted with the golf course.

Does Sky Creek offer any junior or senior rates?

• Sky Creek Ranch Golf Club offers a senior rate.  Please refer to our rates page for more information.

Does Sky Creek offer any special rates?

• Yes. Periodically, we offer special rates and valued pricing that are communicated to patrons in our 'Email Specials Club'.

I don’t have my own clubs; do you offer club rentals?

• Yes; we offer top of the line club rentals at a cost of $50 for the set. The set includes Callaway irons, woods, wedges, and Odyssey putters.  We also offer a wide assortment of top brand golf clubs and accessories in our expansive, full-service golf shop.  Gift cards are also available online.

What credit cards does Sky Creek accept?

• We accept Mastercard, Visa, American Express and Discover.

Does Sky Creek host tournaments or banquets?

• Yes. Sky Creek Ranch Golf Club hosts numerous tournaments and banquets throughout the year. We can accommodate groups of all sizes and types, ranging from small outings for 16 to full-day double shot gun tournaments for 300.

What is the dress policy?

• We allow soft spikes only
• Gentlemen are required to wear collared shirts (mock turtles are acceptable)
• Tee shirts and tank tops are prohibited on the course and practice facility
• Shorts are requested to be mid-thigh length or longer; no cut-offs, please
• Denim clothing is not allowed at Sky Creek Ranch Golf Club

What other club policies should I be aware of?

• USGA Rules govern all play
• Please repair your ball mark and one other on the greens during play
• Carts must remain on paths around all tees, greens, and entire Par 3’s
• Personal coolers, outside food and beverages are not permitted on property
• All alcohol purchased on site must remain on site
• Pace of Play target of 15 minutes per hole or 4-1/2 hours per 18 holes
• Must be at least 18 years old and have a valid driver's license to operate a golf car
